lucerne, switzerland

21 January 2016
Lucerne's an hour and a half away from Mount Titlis. So we came in the morning and left before evening. The cold was tamer than in the mountains and the weather was just clear cut.
Its more vibrant and electric, invoked a certain kind of felicity which I loved!

My dad just wanted to look for watches so we all tagged along to enjoy the scenery.

Here's Lucerne in pictures.

Come to think of it, there were no high rises anywhere!! I'm pretty sure someone's imposing a strict air-right somewhere.

The entrance to the so called infamous 'watch street'.

Stood here for a while to just enjoy the exterior and its paintings

Swan!!!

Thats the Kapellbr├╝cke! The oldest bridge in Europe and the world's oldest surviving truss bridge!!

After a few hours of shopping, we decided to have lunch nearby!

iPad mini never too far from me. I've replaced my kindle with a mini for my reading activities. The retina display's more comfortable for long-bouts of reading. I'll talk this more in the next few posts!! The time isn't right, just yet. Hehehe.

After a few more hours of walking around, we sat again at another cafe to have coffee (lol yess.. we're one of those families that take a million breaks in restaurants).

Lucerne was so, so incredibly beautiful! I wished I learned the street names so I could caption the photos better... But I can only excel in one thing at a time fml. I love the experience of taking photos of a new surrounding. There's so many things that catches the eye and captivates the heart.

I hope everyone's having a great day!

P.S.: Thank you so much to those who've emailed me their warm and kind words! I appreciate and cherish each and every single one of you. Thank you for the funny cat photos and other photography blogs that you might've think I enjoyed -
 I enjoy them all thoroughly.
Your kindness resonates with me like a sun piercing through a cloudy day.

Lots of love,
Sara
